25-Dec 2017, Federation of National Christian Nepal organized Christmas 017 program at Rastriya Sava Griha with exchanging greeting and well wishes. The Vice-Chairperson-FNCN, Rev. Pastor Samuel Sodemba conducted the opening prayer. The FNCN Secretary cum Christmas Celebration program Coordinator Pastor Tej Bahadur Rokka was MC of the program. The Chairperson of the program, President of FNCN, C.B. Gahatraj and the Chief Guest, Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal jointly lighted the lamp-stand. And after the singing of the national anthem, the program continued formally.

In the podium there were special guests, defense minister, Vimsen Dash Pradhan, Former Education and cultural minister, leader of CPM UML Gangalal Tuladhar, Former Women Children and Social Welfare Minister, Spoke-person of Maoist-Central Pampha Bhshal, Leader of Nepali Congress Ramhari Khatiwada,, National Human-right commission member Sudip Pathak, Senior Human right leader Damanath Dhungana, Undersecretary – office of Prime Minister, Religious Leaders, Inter-faith activists, Human right official, Reporters and Ex-officio of FNCN.
A group of members of women department-FNCN honoured the guests with bouquets of flowers and guest badges. The General Secretary- Pastor Padamnath Prajuli welcomed all the guests and attendants. The choir performed dances and presented welcome songs. The Christmas message was delivered by Vice-Chairperson – FNCN, Dr. Philemon Chettri.

In the program, the Chief Guest, Former Prime Minister, Madhav Kumar Nepal and Defence Minister Bihimsen Das Pradhan jointly awarded the certificate of honour to the reporters, who contributed for rights and identity of Christian for many years, i. Prakash Bishunke from Janta TV and Zion Media, ii. Ram Hari Thapa, from Bachan Media group iii. Dinesh Shrestha from Yuwa Darshan magazine. In the same sequence, the former prime-minister awarded certificate of honour to the defence minister like-wise FNCN President put doshalla to the defence minister honouring for his remarkable supports toward the Christian community.
The Spoke-person of FNCN, Pastor Sagar Bainju read out the letter of greetings and address of Prime Minister to the Christmas program 2017.
